I then completed four years of postdoctoral training in nutrition at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I joined the University of Memphis faculty in the fall of 2016 in the School of Health Studies (now College of Health Sciences). My current research focuses on the role of metabolism in innate immune function in aging and age-related disease.
